System Requirements
- Windows 2000 or Windows NT 4.0 (Service Pack 4 or greater).
- Internet Explorer 5.0 or greater.
- At least 64 MB of memory.
- 300 MHz processor, faster is always better.
Process Explorer 2.0 Installation
- Double-Click the Setup.exe file to begin the installation.
- A message will pop up: Copying files, please stand by.
- After a few minutes the Process Explorer 2.0 screen will open.
- Follow the instructions on the screen to install the program.
Starting Process Explorer 2.0
- On the desktop, click Start --> Programs --> Cubex Process Explorer --> Process Explorer 2.0.
- The Trial Information dialog box will open.
- Click the Continue Trial button.
- The program will now try to connect to the database.
- If the connection is successful, the Log In dialog box will open.
- Click the Ok button to log in. User Name: Cubex Password: Cubex
- If it does not find the database, the following message will pop up: An error occurred while trying to connect to the database.
- Click the Ok button.
- The Data Connection dialog box will open.
- Click the Browse button.
- The Select Database File dialog box will open.
- Select PEDemo.mdb and click the Open button. The dialog box will close.
- Click the Ok button to close the Data Connection dialog box.
- The Log In dialog box will open. Click the Ok button to log in.
- The Main Menu will open.
Setting up Process Explorer 2.0 to collect data.
- Click the Table Manager tool button.
- The Table Manager window will open.
- Click the Production department in the Data Tables tree.
- Click Tools --> Edit Machines to open the Machines dialog box.
- Click the New button.
- Enter the name of the machine you want to collect data for and press Enter.
- Click the Save button to save the changes to the database.
- Close the dialog box.
- Add a new table.
- Add tags to the table.
