The Reporter displays data in a tree format and is used to preview or print reports such as production reports and downtime reports. Using the Reporter is a quick and easy way to view data for the whole plant.

Data is displayed in the Explorer tree by date and shift. By default, data will be displayed for the past 7 days for the first shift. The Explorer tree displays the departments, machines, tables, data groups, and the data in each group.

To view data for a different date range and/or shift:

• Select the start date.
• Select the end date.
• Select the shift from the drop-down box.
• Click the Refresh View button.

To view a report:

• Select a report from the Reports list.
• Click the View Report button.

Most reports will require you to enter some information before the report can be viewed. For instance, if you select the production report and click the View Report button, an intermediate web page will open. To view the report, you will need to enter a start date and end date, select a department and shift and then click the Preview button.

Each report is viewed on a web page in Internet Explorer. The report can also be printed from Internet Explorer.

To configure a report:

• Click the Configure Reports button.
• The Configure Reports dialog box will open.

• Click the New button to add a new report. A new row will be added to the bottom of the spreadsheet.
• Enter the report name.
• Enter the web address.
• Click the Save button to save your changes to the database.
• To delete a report, select a report from the spreadsheet and click the Delete button.
• To edit a report, double-click on the cell you want to edit. Make your changes and click the Save button to save your changes to the database.
